Saturday :

9:00 am:    "Spey, Two-handed Casting" (class) Jim Valle instructor.  Novice to Intermediate casters. 6 students. Approx. 2 hours on stream. Bring your own Spey kit, waders AND license!  Meet @ event entry.

9:00 am:     "Single-handed Spey, an Introduction" (class)   Dave Jacobson instructor.  Bring your own trout kit (5-7 weight). Approx. 1.5 hours. Novice to intermediate casters. 6 students. Meet @ event entry.  

9:30 am - through afternoon:   "Public Lessons & Tune-ups", various Certified Instructors. Short, private lessons for all levels, adults AND children. Included with entry fee. Children free. Gear provided. Lessons will be on grass. Sign-up at event. Video taping will be available. 

9:30am:  "The Modern Advantage of Switch Rods"  (demonstration) William Ciaurro.  All levels. On field, by pavillion.

10:30 am:   "Saltwater Quick Cast"  (demonstration) Bob Rumpf.  All levels.  On field, by pavillion.

11:00 am:    "Change Direction Casts" (demonstration)  Mike May.  All levels. On field, by pavillion.

11:30 am:     "A Useful 15 Minute First Casting Lesson" (demonstration) Gail Gallo.  All levels. On field, by pavillion.

12:00 pm :   “New portable technologies – useful in teaching fly casting".  Jean-Francois Lavallee will be discussing technology, Ipads, smartphones etc... and how cool they can be when used to teach fly casting.  This is Continuing Education for Instructors and those interested in becoming certified. It will take place during lunch time in the new museum building's ground floor. 

Lunch :  on grounds @ the pavillion - your standard Clave Fare ... Burgers 'n Dogs, with drinks.

1:00 pm:   "Fly Fishing Literature"  (talk ... demonstration) Bob Rumpf.  All welcome. Inside the NEW building, ground floor.

1:30 pm:   "Using Targets in Teaching First Time Casters" (demonstration) Paul Gallo.  All levels. On field, by pavillion.

The rest of the afternoon is for fishing.  With a license you may fish the CFFCM’s section of the Willowemoc, or any of our nearby rivers, which all have convenient parking lots and access to the water.

Dinner.  A few of us will be going over to the Riverside Cafe and Inn after the afternoon's fishing is over for dinner and a few drinks.  Its at Exit 92 on Route 17 in Horton.  Look forward to seeing you there.

Note: The Catskill Fly Tyers Guild will be having their Annual Fly Tyers Rendezvous & Dinner Saturday, starting at 10 am at the Rockland House.  Please feel free to wander over and enjoy their great event.

9:00 am:    "Presentation Casts"  (class) George Simon MCI. Intermediate casters. 6 - 8 students. Bring own kit and waders. Class may be on water or on grass. Meet @ event entry.

10:30 am:    "Roll Cast"  (demonstration) Michael Gallart.  All levels.  On field, by pavillion.

11:00 am:     "Accuracy Casting"  (demonstration) Allan Johnson.  All Levels.  On field, by pavillion.

Lunch.

This event is for the public and is being held in partnership with the CFFCM, so this is most definitely an event for everyone: all fly fishers, their parents, spouses and children, FFF members, certified instructors, spey casters, etc., etc.
