Helpful Instructions

Feel like a fish out of water?  Need a lifeline?  Here are some helpful instructions to get you to shore!  The Tech Center will be open all event days from 8:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. MT during Expo days.  406-222-9369 X6.

 

How do I get to the FFI Virtual Expo?

You must first register for the event by clicking the button below and purchasing your admission ticket.

After you register, you will receive an e-mail from Whova asking you to create an account that ties to the registration you just completed.  When you create the account you must use the same email address you registered with.  The link to get back to the DESKTOP VERSION of the FFI Virtual Expo on Whova is:

If you downloaded the WHOVA APP, just click the icon on your device and login, if needed.

What software do I need to have the best experience?

Whova App

If you are using an app on a smart device, i.e. phone or tablet, to your app store and download WHOVA.  If you already have the app on your device, check for updates and download if necessary.

Desktop Access

Website URL:  Please note that you CANNOT access our event through the public site at whova.com.  You must access the desktop version of Whova by using the link https://whova.com/portal/webapp/ffive_202211/ . 

Create an account using the e-mail that you used to registered. Once the account is created use the link above and login to get back to your account.

Browser compatibility:  Google Chrome (preferred), Firefox, and Safari

Zoom Client:  Although you are accessing your sessions through Whova, it is integrating with Zoom.  Please make sure you have the latest version of Zoom downloaded on your device.  You can get the latest version of Zoom at https://zoom.us/download#client_4meeting .

How Do I Create My Own Agenda (OPTIONAL)?

DESKTOP VERSION

  1. Find the Agenda tab on the side of the screen. You should see a list of sessions for that day.
  2. You can move through different days by selecting the date you want to view on the calendar at the top of the agenda
  3. Browse or search for sessions on the top bar.
  4. Find the session you want to access.
  5. If the session hasn’t occurred yet, you can click Add to My Agenda to put the session on your own personal agenda.
  6.  Only sessions you have added to your agenda (both paid and free) will appear in the My Agenda tab.

How Do I View the Sessions?

DESKTOP VERSION

  1. From the agenda list (either Full Agenda or My Agenda), click the session you want to watch the stream or video. There is a green camera icon for the sessions with streaming or video.
  2. If the streaming screen directly shows up, click “Proceed” to start watching the stream. 
  3.  If the session hasn't opened yet a message will come up and ask you wait until the session starts.  Please REFRESH YOUR SCREEN every 30 seconds or so to make sure you are seeing the latest screen version.  Your browser should have an icon, normally a rounded circle with an arrow, to allow you to click and refresh.
