I attended my first Becoming an Outdoors Woman (California) Fly Fishing Clinic on the Bidwell Ranch in September 2005. I've been back six more times, and have progressed to the point that I want to start giving back to the program. To do so I'm going to pursue my Casting Instructors certification. I have the benefit of being located close to the Oakland Casting Club and if history is a guide, I will have ample opportunity to learn from some of the best in the Bay area.

I don't expect this to be easy and will gladly welcome encouragement and advice along the way.
