Thank You Pennsylvania Fish and Boat Commission

Posted on 10/20/2018 by Fly Fishers International

PFBC extends the catch and release regulation on Section 5 of Penns Creek. It's great news for the fishery.

Penns Creek is a 67.1-mile-long tributary of the Susquehanna River in central Pennsylvania. The upper reaches of Penns Creek offer some of the best trout fly fishing in the Northeast, with a Green Drake hatch occurring in late May that is one of the largest in the world.

Recently the Pennsylvania Fish and Boat Commission voted to extend the catch and release regulation for Penns Creek Section 5.  An effort that FFI supported early this year.  It's great news for the fishery.  Thank you PFBC!
