I have been fly fishng for about 20 years.  I enjoy  all aspects of fly fishing but I think that trout fishing is my favorite.  I especially like horse pack trips into wilderness areas- I love the mountains.  I also enjoy upland bird hunting and own a Vizsla and a German Shorthaired Pointer that are my hunting companions and I also run them in field trials.  I enjoy shooting sporting clays and am fortunate to have a world class sporting clays course near my home.

I have been a certified casting instructor for several years and enjoy giving lessons and teaching casting and fly fishing at clinics and schools.  It's rewarding to introduce new people to the sport, and I hope they can have as much enjoyment from it as I have.
