2026 Gulf Coast Classic

The Gulf Coast Council (GCC) of Fly Fishers International (FFI) will host our 4th annual fly fishing festival on May 1-2, 2026, at the Learning Campus in Gulf State Park. This event features some of the top fly tiers and casting instructors from across the nation and region, fly fishing experts, conservation advocates, commercial and non-profit exhibitors, as well as a slew of fun activities.
Located in Gulf Shores, Alabama, the park offers state-of-the-art theatre area, meeting rooms, outside facilities, a restaurant, easy access to a 600-acre brackish lake and to beaches, and much more.

- Seminars on fishing locations, tactics, and species
- Conservation programs
- Fly tying demonstrations
- Exhibitors and vendors
- Beginner workshops (free with admission)
- Advanced Fly Tying workshops (fee, registration required)
- Advanced Casting workshops (fee, registration required)
- Mixed Bag Challenge fishing contest
- Fly Fishing Film Tour (F3T) (separate registration)
- Keynote Conservation Speaker
- Raffles offering many one-of-a-kind items
Attendees can register for one or both days. Advanced registration kicks off March 1st. There's also a family registration discount!
