Florida Council of Fly Fishers International Will Host a Florida Fly Fishing Expo at The Plantation on Crystal River

November 2026

The Florida Council of Fly Fishers International will host a Florida Fly Fishing Expo for members and other fly fishers at The Plantation on Crystal River on November 5-7, 2026.  The event will feature some of the most talented fly fishers in Florida who will share their experiences and knowledge in presentations, workshops and demonstrations so that all who attend will learn something that will add to their enjoyment of fly Fishing.  Some of our best fly tiers will be demonstrating how to tie patterns that will catch fish anywhere in the world and fly casters will have the opportunity to participate in FFI’s Fly Casting Skills Program.  Presentations will be given on FFI Conservation Activities, Biology of fly Selection and various Fly Fishing Venues in Florida.  There also will be special events for women and youth fly fishers.  This will be a great opportunity to meet other fly fishers and learn more about fly fishing your home waters.
