The Wasatch Fly Tying and Fly Fishing Expo is a gathering of fly fishers, fly tyers, fishing guides, destination outfitters, fly fishing equipment vendors, and enthusiasts. The Expo features a diverse range of educational, conservation, travel, fly fishing, and humanitarian activities.
– Educational opportunities to learn fly fishing, fly tying, and advanced casting techniques from nationally recognized experts
– Beginners’ programs
– Dozens of fly tyers demonstrating some of their favorite patterns and techniques that catch fish
– Free Youth programs where kids have the opportunity to tie flies and learn to cast a fly rod
– Casting areas for attendees to take a casting clinic or try new fly rods supplied by the vendors
The Utah Chapters of Trout Unlimited and Fly Fishers International sponsor the Expo.
Funds raised at the Expo support Utah conservation and education activities.
