Curve Casts

What does it mean...curve casts?


Curve casts are used to present a fly to an obstructed target. An example is casting upstream to a fish holding in front of an exposed rock. A common way to make curved line presentations is to cast in the horizontal plane and either over-power or under-power the cast.
