I have been tying flies for 20 years.

I have been a Tying Instructor for 5 years. My teaching specialty is: Deer Hair and Large Saltwater patterns.

I have been a Demonstration Tier for 10 years. My demonstration specialty is: Bass Bugs, Saltwater and Trout.

I have taught have taught fly tying at several boating and fishing shows both in Queensland and others states.I have attended the conclave organised by Mci Peter Hayes in Tasmania twice to demonstrate, saltwater and bass flys.I also attended the conclaves in Melbourne and Sydney to demonstrate fly tying. The local club for a number of years had a fly convention and demonstrated fly tying at everyone.Just recently I did a tying demonstration in Jindabyne for MCI Brian Henderson.I have also been involved in store tying demos and had students in both a one on one and group setting. I joined the fly tying group because fly tying is a very important part of the sport. The knowledge of patterns and techniques is amazing and needs to be preserved also it is important that patterns origins are known. I live and tie in Australia. One day I hope to attend the FFF Fair and hope to do some fly tying because some of the best people I have ever met and learned from hangout where the fur and feathers fly.
