I have been tying flies for over 40 years.

I have been a Tying Instructor for over 20 years.

My teaching specialty is one-feather flies and marabou streamers. My Demonstration specialty is basic tying techniques, one-feather flies, marabou streamers.

I have taught Basic Tying for many years to individuals and groups. I prefer to teach techniques used to tie rather than specific flies. Taught basic tying at Bass Pro Shop, Crossroads Anglers Club, designed and built special, oversized 'Demonstration Tools' for showing tying basics when in front of large groups. Currently teaching Disabled Veterans through Project Healing Waters.
