I have been fly fishing for over 15 years.  Bluegill and bass were the first fish on a fly rod.  Trout fishing in Wisconsin was the next step for me.  I spend many weekends each year, fishing the small spring creeks.  I have more recently tried my hand at casting for larger species and have enjoyed catching big smallmouth bass, pike and muskie on a fly rod. 

After many hours of practice and teaching, I became the first woman in Illinois to receive FFF casting certification in 2008.  At the time there was only one other woman in the Midwest that held this certification.  I love to teach and have helped teach casting at the Great Waters Fly Fishing Expo in MN and IL, with DuPage Rivers Fly Tyers in IL and through programs with clubs such as Flygirls of Michigan and TU chapters in Wisconsin. 

My husband PJ and I started PJ's Guide Service, specializing in teaching woman and children and beginners how to fly fish for trout.  We run fly fishing schools and guide clients in SW Wisconsin to fish for trout on the spring creeks that run through the beautiful unglaciated corner of the state.
