Cenla Fly Fishing Festival

Postponed from January due to weather, the 6th biennial Cenla Fly Fishing Festival will now be held Saturday, May 30th. Hosted by the Kisatchie Fly Fishers club and held in even years, this family-friendly event celebrates the vast fly fishing and fishing-related opportunities across the region. Admission is FREE!

There are expert seminars on a wide variety of topics such as tackle, bass fishing, marsh fishing, kayak fishing, and more. There’s also fly casting instruction by FFI Certified Casting Instructors, fly tying demonstrations by over two dozen of the region’s top fly tiers, and more. A jambalaya lunch is available for a nominal cost. A portion of the raffle proceeds benefit The Food Bank of Central Louisiana.
