SWC Teaching Symposium on November 8, 2025.

  • Earl Arnold, SWC Education Chair, will host this free event at the Pasadena Casting Club.
  • This event is for teachers and student teachers to gather, share experiences, resources, and techniques, and network with fellow educators.
  • Time: 9:30 am to 3 pm
  • Saturday, November 8, 2025.

Our second annual teaching symposium will be held at the Pasadena Casting Club on Saturday, November 8, 2025, from 10 am to 3 pm. We will feature guest speakers covering casting, fly tying, and fly fishing instruction, as well as a review of Fly Fishers International’s outstanding resources. There will be a FREE LUNCH followed by a roundtable discussion on teaching tactics, program development, and sharing how we do what we do.

Registration is free and open to all instructors, teachers, assistants, student teachers, and anyone interested in enhancing their club’s educational programs, tactics, programs, and sharing how we do what we do.
