Learning Center
Fly Fishers International (FFI) is pleased to offer FREE fly fishing instruction at the Learning Center located on the main show floor. Basic fly-casting, fly-tying, and knots, will be taught throughout the day-every day of the Fly Fishing Show. Activities may vary based on availability of space at the facility.

Pleasanton Fly Fishing Show - FFI Northern California Council once again will host the FFI Learning Center at the Pleasanton Fly Fishing Show February 27, 28, March 1, 2026 at the Alameda County Fairgrounds. Fly tying, knot tying, rigging instruction, and insect identification instruction will be available, provided by experienced local FFI Club members. FFI Certified Casting Instructors and local FFI club members will be offering the Fly Casting Skills Developmemt program to help assess your skills, offer advice and build your fly casting skills. (Rods are provided)"
