Boise Valley Fly Fishers EXPO 2023

The Boise Valley Fly Fishers is proud to announce the 18th Annual Western Idaho Fly Fishing EXPO on January 6th and 7th. The event will be held at Expo Idaho in Garden City.   EXPO 2023 will kick off Boise Valley Fly Fishers’ (BVFF) 52nd year as a non-profit education and conservation club. For 18 years, BVFF has presented this world class event in Boise. Each year this two-day event has had attendance of over 2,500 with numerous exhibitors and powerful educational programs.    

The popular event will feature:  
• An indoor casting pond where experts will demonstrate effective casting techniques.  
• Nationally recognized fly tyers from all over the west will demonstrate their skills in small group settings where attendees can ask questions and learn from some of the best. 
• Experts from around the country will demonstrate the latest fishing techniques for different fish species, where to fish, and much more.  
• Exhibitors will showcase a wide variety of gear including the latest rods, reels, fly tying equipment, and more.  

Whether you’ve never fly fished before or consider yourself an experienced fly angler, there’s something for you at the Western Idaho Fly Fishing Expo 2023!   Proceeds from EXPO fund numerous fishing access projects, conservation training, fly fishing education, and youth programs.
