Marc Billett is a native of North Central Pennsylvania and became involved in fly fishing and fly tying at a very young age.  Living and growing up in the heart of some of the best fishing in the east provided Marc with a wealth of knowledge and experience.  A career spanning over 30 years of fly casting, fly tying, and teaching has provided Marc with the knowledge to help develop numerous fly fisherman.  He has taught casting for such notables as Sage Rod Company, is a FFF certified casting instructor, and has taught fly casting all over the eastern sea board.  In addition, he has hosted the FFF eastern casting rendezvous on the Loyalsock Creek where some of the best casting instructors and fisherman in the east have shared, taught, and demonstrated, their casting and fishing expertise.

A retired teacher and coach, Marc has taught students the art of fly fishing at both the college and high school levels, promoting the great sport of fly fishing. He has appeared on OLN Network in the Fly Fishing Masters Competition, placing third in the Northeastern Regional casting competition in 2003.  He was inducted to the Pennsylvania Wrestling Hall of Fame in 2012 and has just retired from coaching after 40 yrs., at Greater Latrobe HS, 

Although Marc has spent most of his time fishing in the east, he now devotes most of his summer fishing the west, especially the Bighorn River in Montana.  He is a member of Trout Unlimited and has done programs on fishing the Bighorn for many of the chapters.  Marc makes his home in Latrobe, Pennsylvania where he guides at Rolling Rock Club and continues to teach fly casting and fish.
