Bryan  McMurry


After 27 years as a sales and marketing manager for Cargill, Dr. Bryan McMurry retired and started a consulting business. As the owner of Dr. Fly Consulting and the Alaska Fly Fishing Academy, Bryan and his    his wife Roberta live in Talkeetna, Alaska during the summer months. He also manages the fly-fishing business, is the casting instructor, and leads guide training for Dave Fish Alaska in Talkeetna. From November through April Bryan and Roberta reside in Millican, Texas. During Those months Bryan organizes fly-fishing business retreats and international trips. Bryan is an executive board member of GoodFly™, a 501(c)(3) non-profit that conducts free, one day fly-casting workshops to help first responders better manage stress and anxiety.
