I have been tying flies for 21 years.

 

Along with the computer classes I teach at Lindenwood University, I also offer Fishing, Fly Tying, Fly Casting and Fly Rod Building  classes for college credit.  I have also done classes and fly tying/casting demos for: Bass Pro Shops, IFFF Mt. Home, Custom Rod Builders Guild in Wisconsin and Iowa.

I've been a demonstration for 15 years. My Demonstration specialty is Trout Flies. I've demonstrated tying at Mt. Home, AR, Park Falls, WI, Collinsville, IL, St Charles, MO, St Louis, MO, Brighton, MO, and Branson, MO.  I would welcome invitations to Demonstrate fly tying at IFFF functions. 

I have been a tying instructor for 17 years and teach to 50 to 60 students per year. I teach the basic concepts of fly tying when I teach - once the basics are achieved students can then apply the basics to most any type of fly tying.

I teach basic, intermediate and advanced classes.  My tying specialty is small files sizes 28 -32.
