L02 Local Activities in Japan to Share Fly Fishing Enjoyment with Younger Generations
Seminar

Presenter(s): Katsutoshi Tsukimoto

Description:  Currently, our local club members and I are enjoying fly fishing activities, but we are very sorry that we have not joined FFi yet as an affiliate club. At our local streams are usually very small/tiny although they have beautiful Japanese native trout like Yamame, Amago, and Char, so fishing is always very tough. We sometimes take beginner fly-fishers to those streams, and enjoy fishing together with them.  Today's presentation will cover: hard climbing and walking through heavy bushes to access streams, variety/diversity of Char family as target fish, fun of Bento of Japanese “mobile” outdoor lunches, and unpleasant small bugs in warm climate environment.
