Fifth Annual Women Connect Tying and Casting Workshop

A gathering for women that are interested in earning Fly Tying Skills Awards and Fly Casting Skills Development Awards from FFI.  Event will be begin on March 13, 2024.

When: March 13, 2024 through March 20, 2024

Where: Luekendock in Mountain Home, Arkansas, on the world famous White River. Fly into Branson, MO (1.5 hours away), Springfield, MO (2.5 hours away) or Little Rock, AR (3 hours away).

Teachers: Gretchen and Al Beatty for Tying Bronze w/helpers Susan Parson and Patty Lueken. Casting by Mary Ann Dozer.  Mary Ann will offer the Bronze, Silver and Gold Awards for casting as well as general casting instruction.  Bring your rod and be prepared to start first thing on the morning of March 13.  You will receive buckets of knowledge on casting! You can work your schedule to tie and cast, but you will be really busy. 

Cost: $475, which includes teaching instruction, food, non-alcoholic beverages, and board for the week. You are responsible for bringing the materials needed to tie the flies for the awards. Vises can be available with prior arrangements.
